About the Asia-Pacific Housing Forum
For more than a decade, the Asia-Pacific Housing Forum (APHF) has gathered under one roof major stakeholders engaged in seeking solutions to affordable housing issues and promote decent housing as a driver of economic growth Since the inaugural conference in 2007 more than 7,200 participants have not only shared common ground but also presented diverse views through insightful plenaries and engaging tracks. The seventh APHF last September 2019 was the largest ever with more than 2,300 participants across the main events, side events, and preliminary lead-up events at the country level.
This 2021, we are bringing the 8th edition of APHF once again closer to the housing sector in the Philippines with the theme “Building Forward Better for Inclusive Housing.”
About the Philippines Housing Forum
Habitat for Humanity Philippines spearheaded the Philippines Housing Forum, a lead-in event of the 8th APHF. The forum was the country’s largest, most anticipated event that convened key stakeholders, subject matter experts, industry professionals, and thought leaders for a comprehensive dialogue that aimed to seek innovative, sustainable, affordable, and climate-resilient solutions to the housing crisis.
Happening from November 10 to 11, 2021, the first virtual Philippines Housing Forum was hosted via Zoom and brought together over 200 participants from diverse sectors. It also held the second Youth Congress last November 6 that engaged young leaders and reinforced their role in building social impact through housing.
